Fused cast α-alumina block consists of almost 100% α alumina. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, strong alkali resistance, dense structure, stable chemical performance and high wear resistant property. It is an ideal material for metallurgical electrolytic cell and the sliding rail of heating furnaces due to stronger corrosion resistance than other aluminum silicate materials against various slags.  Â
