Variable frequency drives, or VFDs, controls the electrical motor by modifying the input frequency to the electrical motor.  Transducers monitor the pressure at the pump outlet and send electrical variable signals to the VFD to control the speed as preprogrammed.

Pressure sensing devices are used for VFD speed management in machinery and industrial plant automation.

In order to be an effective and efficient tool for machine automation, transducers must be able to work with a variety of media.
